Campervan Electrics Directory

Privacy policy

Last updated: 17 October 2026 · Pre-launch policy

Who operates this directory

Campervan Electrics Directory is a specialist business directory for the UK and Republic of Ireland.

This pre-launch policy is awaiting the operator’s legal identity and public privacy contact details. Those details must be completed before public launch.

Information we collect

  • Business submissions: business name, description, category, services, location and any website, telephone or business email you provide.
  • Submitter name and email, used privately to administer a submission.
  • Account email and authentication information when an administrator signs in.
  • Cookie preferences, the notice version, and when preferences are accepted, rejected or changed, saved in your browser.
  • Technical information necessary to deliver and secure the site, such as IP address, request information and error diagnostics processed by our hosting services.
  • If you accept optional analytics: usage information such as pages visited and interactions with the directory, collected by Google Analytics 4.

How and why we use information

We use listing information to review submissions, maintain accurate business profiles and operate the directory. Only approved listings are shown publicly. Submitter contact details and administrator account details are not included in public profiles.

Our basis for maintaining the directory, reviewing submissions and protecting it is our legitimate interest in providing an accurate and secure business directory. Necessary storage supports services you request, including signing in and remembering privacy choices. Optional analytics and advertising, if introduced, will require a separate current consent choice.

Public business details

Approved business names, descriptions, services, locations and supplied business contact details may be visible to visitors and search engines. Do not submit personal details you do not want published in business contact fields. Pending, rejected and unpublished listings are not publicly accessible.

Services and recipients

Lovable Cloud provides hosting, database storage and account authentication. Our hosting services may process operational logs and diagnostics for delivery, security and troubleshooting.

Typography is supplied by Google Fonts. Your browser requests font files from Google, which receives technical request information such as your IP address. These requests are not Google Analytics or advertising tracking.

If you accept optional analytics, Google Analytics 4 (provided by Google) measures how the directory is used, such as which pages are visited and how visitors move between them. The Google Analytics script and cookies are only loaded after you accept, and Google’s consent controls keep analytics and advertising storage denied until then. You can withdraw analytics consent at any time through Cookie preferences in the footer; measurement then stops. Google AdSense advertising and the Cookiebot consent platform are not currently installed or activated.

Where service providers process data outside the UK or EEA, the operator must confirm applicable locations and transfer safeguards before launch; these details are not yet finalised.

Retention and security

Business listing data is held while needed to operate and maintain the directory. Submission, account and technical data should be retained only as long as needed for their administrative, security or legal purpose. Final retention periods and deletion arrangements will be confirmed by the operator before launch.

Administrator access is restricted to authorised accounts, and access controls protect non-public records. No website can guarantee absolute security.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your personal data, or object to processing based on legitimate interests. You may withdraw optional cookie choices at any time through Cookie preferences in the footer. Withdrawal does not affect earlier lawful processing.

You can complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk, or Ireland’s Data Protection Commission at dataprotection.ie. The operator’s contact for privacy requests must be added before launch.

External business websites

Company website links take you to independently operated sites with their own privacy policies. This policy does not cover those sites.
