Cookie policy

Our current use of cookies and storage

Cookies are small files stored by your browser. Similar technologies, including local storage, can remember information between visits. This directory uses necessary storage, plus optional analytics cookies only if you accept them. Advertising cookies are disabled.

Necessary storage

• Account session: the authentication service uses browser storage to keep signed-in administrators authenticated. It remains until sign-out, expiry or removal by the browser, subject to session renewal.
• Cookie preferences: campervan-cookie-preferences records your choices and their history, timestamps and the notice shown. Preferences expire after 180 days. Expired records are replaced on your next choice; you can remove them by clearing site storage.

Necessary storage is not used for advertising. Rejecting optional purposes does not sign you out or prevent company submissions and directory browsing.

Optional analytics (Google Analytics 4)

If you accept analytics, Google Analytics 4 measures directory usage, such as pages visited and navigation between pages. The Google script and its cookies load only after you accept; before that, no analytics requests are made and Google’s consent controls keep analytics and advertising storage denied. If you reject or later withdraw analytics, measurement stops and no analytics cookies are set.

Advertising remains off: no AdSense scripts are loaded. A Google-certified consent platform such as Cookiebot is planned before any advertising use, but is not connected yet. The current preference controls are not a Google-certified CMP and must not be used to activate AdSense.

Accept, reject or change preferences

You can accept optional purposes, reject both, or save separate choices. Opening preferences does not change your saved choice; saving a rejection records withdrawal and preserves earlier choices in the browser record.

Changes are shared with other open tabs on this site. Clearing browser storage removes the record and causes the site to ask again. If storage is blocked, choices cannot be saved and tracking remains disabled.

Third-party requests

The site requests fonts from Google Fonts and uses hosting and authentication services for essential delivery. Links to business websites open external sites whose cookies are governed by their own policies.

We will update this policy with an audited cookie list, providers and durations when a consent platform and any optional services are introduced.
